Thanksgiving 2026: Where to Order Thanksgiving Dinner in Bergen County — Catering & Takeout Guide

Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, November 26 — and if the idea of cooking a whole turkey with three small kids underfoot makes you tired just thinking about it, you are not alone. The good news: Bergen County has plenty of places that will cook the feast for you, from Italian marketplaces to grocery catering to a classic Saddle River cafe. The catch is the calendar — most order deadlines land between November 21 and November 25, so this is the week to decide. Here are five solid options, all taking orders for 2026.

Roasted turkey with green beans and mashed potatoes
  1. Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace — Ramsey, NJ (also Morris Plains & Tinton Falls). The Italian marketplace's 2026 holiday catering is open now, with Thanksgiving packages sized for 7, 14, or 21 people, plus a full à la carte menu of entrées, sides, and desserts. Order by November 21, and pick up or get delivery on November 25 or 26. The Thanksgiving menu is only fulfilled November 22–26, so do not wait until the last minute. Best for: a full Italian-American feast with zero cooking.
  2. Whole Foods Market — Bergen County stores. Whole Foods' Thanksgiving catering is open, with the instruction to reserve before November 23 and order by November 25 for local pickup. The Classic Whole Roast Turkey Meal serves 8 for $169.99 (whole roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, herb stuffing, green beans, and gravy), and there are dedicated vegan and vegetarian feasts — the plant-based meal for two starts at $42.99. Everything arrives chilled and ready to reheat, and you pick your time slot at your local store. Best for: families with mixed diets, or anyone who wants a complete meal in one order.
  3. Wegmans — 100 Farm View, Montvale, NJ. Wegmans' Meals 2GO catering offers a Hand Carved Turkey Dinner starting at $200 (turkey plus your choice of four sides, serving 6–12), plus ham options, individual turkey meals, and à la carte trays, sides, and desserts. Preorders need at least 24 hours' notice, and Thanksgiving pickup runs November 21–26, 2026. If you would rather cook but want the shopping done for you, Wegmans also has a Thanksgiving basket deal — a 13-pound turkey plus stuffing, gravy, potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie for under $40, feeding eight — running November 8–28. Best for: big groups, and for the budget-friendly DIY basket.
  4. ShopRite — multiple Bergen County locations. ShopRite's Thanksgiving catering can be ordered online, with a two-page menu running from seafood appetizers and Italian antipasto to turkey, spiral-sliced Virginia ham, and dozens of potato and vegetable sides, plus a full Thanksgiving dinner option. And if you spend the required amount with your Price Plus Card through November 26, you may qualify for a free turkey or ham. Best for: a one-stop shop where you can grab the feast and the rest of the week's groceries in the same trip.
  5. Saddle River Cafe — Saddle River, NJ. Chef Jamie Knott's Bergen County staple will cater your holiday feast: oven-roasted turkey, sweet potato mash, crispy brussels sprouts, a large-format Caesar salad — and if you are tired of poultry, a beef tenderloin or glazed ham instead. Orders typically close a few days before Thanksgiving (last year it was November 22), so check their site for this year's cutoff and order early. Best for: a polished, restaurant-quality meal without the restaurant. If you would rather eat out, Osteria Crescendo in Westwood is serving a three-course Thanksgiving dinner in the dining room, with reservations open now.

Tips for ordering Thanksgiving dinner: order early — the best pickup slots (Wednesday afternoon, November 25) fill up weeks ahead; confirm whether your meal arrives hot or chilled, and read the reheating instructions before the big day; order pies separately if your favorite bakery does them better; and if you are feeding a crowd, ask about a second turkey breast — running out of turkey is the one Thanksgiving mistake nobody forgets.
